My Work

Camera is basically attached to me, as I walk with it everywhere. You never know when and where that special moment will occur, and sure I don’t want to miss it. I am always on the lookout for wonders. When people see my camera, they ask what I take photos of. My answer is, “Everything.”

My passion is to take photos of nature, wildlife and animals. All my self-published books are based on nature and the need to preserve it. I wish to bring people back to nature, as it is our home. We need to save our fragile eco-systems.

These are the samples of my work:

People:

My favorite thing is to capture energy, feelings and emotions. I love candid shots. Life is beautiful, and every moment is precious.

Real Estate

Capturing places is to capture energy of what it was, what it is and what could be. Each place has their own history, their stories, hopes and dreams.

Pets

Each pet has their own personality. They are like our children who give us unconditional love and affection and sometimes an attitude.

Models

Love to capture the lifestyle where models represent an attire and its comfort. Pictured here is model wearing Binjara Traders, Inc., Sahara and Ivory Coast clothes and accessories.

Memory from Dalia Koss Unique Jewelry

Models wear clothing and accessories from Oh La La Moda.

Food Photography

When I take photos of food, I like customers to feel like they are tasting it and savoring every nourishing bite. These photos are taken at local restaurants: Amore, Vino Bistro, Captain Brian’s, Drunken Poet, Tamiami Tap, C’est la Vie.

Commercial Photography

I did many photos for various businesses for promotion. Some of the businesses used my photography in their own advertising. Supporting local is very important to local families and local economy.

These are just samples of my work.

Also, my family and I are big advocates for small businesses. Our website MustSeeSarasota.com and facebook.com/MustSeeSarasota promote small family-owned businesses. Facebook page has over 30.7K followers. The record was 4.3 millions of views. One of my photos got 4.5 millions of views.

Movie Production

I was fortunate to know late Jini Mount. She was quite an inspiration. Jini was a dancer, ice skater, artist, sculptor, published author and screenwriter. She used to have her studio and gallery in Towles Court. It was in bright green building she called The Celery Barn. I had an honor to work in her short movie “A Lot in Common… Shared Memories.” I was a Still photographer, and I met wonderful people. I was able to capture not only stills of the movie, but the whole production, and be part of it. This film was selected in Sarasota Film Festival and Movieville International Film Festival. It was so good to see my and friends’ names in credits on the big Movie Theater screens.

Wildlife and Nature

Wildlife and nature are near and dear to my heart. Many species are in danger because of habitat destruction, overbuilding, wide use of glyphosate and fertilizers, deforestation, loss of diversity in planting, etc. People do not realize if nature goes, we go. Nature is our home. Diverse plants, trees and wildlife play important roles in our eco-system. By volunteering and working at the sanctuary, I gained hands-on knowledge and experience. I shared some of the knowledge and research in my books: Wild Florida: Insects, Amphibians and Reptiles, Wild Florida Birds, and Wild Florida: Mammals and Sea Life. Some of these photos are included in Wild Florida series and “Nature’s Wisdom” books that I talk about the importance of saving and protecting our nature and wildlife.

I also sell digital photos, photo prints and photos on canvas. Any photo can be ordered and made into beautiful art canvas.

The photo on canvas “Gardens of the Mind” was donated to The Florida Orchestra.
